Compared to the previous year’s result of EUR 2.48 billion, this is an increase of about 4.1 percent.

Strong sales areas
At EUR 1.401 million, the specialty chicken business with the leading brand WIESENHOF is the top-selling segment.
The upstream sector of poultry breeding contributed EUR 120.2 million to the overall result.
The Animal Nutrition and Animal Health segment, which is mainly concentrated in the companies MEGA Animal Nutrition (Rechterfeld), Lohmann Pharma Cuxhaven) and GePro (Diepholz), achieved sales of 481.3 million euros.
The Human Nutrition and Human Health division is being edited by Nutrilo (Cuxhaven). The producer of dietary supplements contributed EUR 54.8 million to the PHW Group's total sales.
A further EUR 523.5 million was generated by the holdings abroad in the segment of poultry specialities.
