This is the cornerstone of the PHW Group. The core business of the PHW Group is the production and marketing of high-quality poultry specialities under the WIESENHOF brand. In 2018, the Alternative Protein Sources business unit was launched. Within the framework of this new business area, the PHW Group has entered into a number of strategic partnerships, including with companies such as SuperMeat and Gathered Foods (Good Catch). The longer-term aim of the family-owned company based in Lower Saxony in Germany is to position itself as a supplier of high-quality protein products and to develop what may initially appear to be competing business units in tandem with each other. In addition to these two business units, the Group also includes a health business unit.
